TVET Capacity Development for Just Transition, Employment Promotion Projects and Green Qualifications.
The Career Path Development for Employment (CPD4E) programme, in partnership with GIZ, SECO, the EU, and DHET, is seeking experienced professionals to serve as Short-Term Expert (STE) Mentors in support of TVET capacity development for a Just Transition and green economy employment promotion in South Africa.
The programme “Career Path Development for Employment” (CPD4E) is a German Technical Cooperation programme implemented by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) on behalf of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), the Swiss State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO) and the European Union (EU). In South Africa the political partner is the Department of Higher Education and Training (DHET). CPD4E aims to improve the employment prospects of young people in South Africa in low-carbon footprint economic sectors to support a Just Transition by applying an integrated approach to employment promotion.
This project is being implemented by GFA Consulting Group GmbH, and all mentors will be contracted by GFA Consulting Group GmbH.
Assignment, Minimum Qualifications, and Criteria
The Project seeks STE Mentors to:
➢Support the development of participant project ideas.
➢Support the mentoring of group projects.
➢It is anticipated that the experts will be national experts.
