Advise on the Afrox Route to Market Strategy

Afrox is looking to source for a supplier that can assist with advisory services for their Route to Market Strategy and you are invited to participate in the Request for quotation, by submitting a proposal with pricing.

African Oxygen Limited (Afrox) is sub-Saharan Africa’s market leader in gases and welding products. Afrox was founded in 1927, listed on the JSE in 1963, and has prospered by constantly meeting the needs of customers and developing solutions that add value to customers’ applications. Afrox operates in South Africa and in 10 other African countries and manages operations in five more on behalf of our parent company, “Linde plc”, a global gases, engineering and technology company.

Scope of Work:
The purpose of engaging an external vendor is to gather their expertise and knowledge on the latest advances in the retail market, delivery service offers, footprint considerations, cost-effective customer service methods and eCommerce solution. Our goal is to enhance our current route-to-market offer (direct or indirect) to generate improvements in sales revenue, customer acquisition and retention rates, delivery times and accuracy, operational cost reductions, and possibly expand or revise our geographical footprint.

The external vendor’s recommendations will be evaluated based on the positive changes they bring in these metrics and the overall effectiveness and efficiency of our route-to-market offer. To ensure confidentiality, a non-disclosure agreement will be executed during the engagement.

A briefing session for the detailed scope of work will be held with suppliers who confirm their participation and sign the Afrox Non-Disclosure Agreement, attached with the letter.
